I don't think I can adequately express my love and adoration for the
Strange Magic event last night at
Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood. I attended the event with fellow Fab Stain and bestie
Lucia Ribisi (who looked adorbs, duh) and we had such an amazing time frolicking around the space (which was transformed into a
90s-esque
teenage bedroom / clad with
treehouse and all the fixins). I must say, it was a bit overwhelming seeing so many people I admire clumped into the same room. If you've read our blog before, you know we are MAJOR fangirls of
Tavi Gevinson,
Petra Collins and
Dana Boulos. I mean, a week doesn't go by where we don't find ourselves drooling over their latest creations (be it photography or personal style). So I was so happy to meet and chat with the girls. Tavi is everything I expected and more - very mature, well versed, stylish beyond her years and polite. PETRA IS THE SWEETEST GIRL I'VE EVER MET! I was lucky enough to
interview her a while back, so meeting her in person was icing on the cake. Not to mention, Dana Boulos is probably as equally gorgeous as her photography is incredible. All in all, it was a fabulous night. I made so many new friends and mingled with old ones...I felt like I was at
summer camp! Also met the lovely and sweet
Agyness Deyn (who happens to be Lucia's stepmom). She is super cool to say the least. Ack! There will be more events all week (including a
PROM)! So check back soon for more amazingness!
PS. I have adopted Lucia's friends Maya and Kaila as my new little sisters (they are twins, high schoolerz and probably more stylish than I'll ever be - refer to several photos below).
