Maxine Sanders, Dawn Ritual, 1969

These will forever remain some of my favorite witchy (Autumn-esque) shots. Much about the tale behind these photos remains unknown, so the photos will simply have to speak for themselves (and do they ever).
"Maxine Morris, high priestess of a Manchester coven sets the alter for a dawn ritual on one of the high and private ridges of the Yorkshire Moors. Amongst the tools are their ritual swords - some handed down from past generations in witchcraft, human skull, bones and a symbolic broomstick."
